Welcome to the professional site of Jaryd Snover.
Currently at Savannah College of Art and Design progressing my skill set as a rigger, expected to graduate spring 2011 with a BFA in animation and a minor in character technical direction.
Born in Colorado Springs, I was exposed to the outdoors and a physical way of life at a young age. Despite being born in Colorado, I spent most of my child hood in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Being a driven individual, I looked for something that combined my interest in anatomy, computers, and art. This led me to computer graphics and consequently, the Savannah College of Art and Design.
At SCAD, I obtained an array of abilities including rigging, scripting, character animation, digital textures, and technical animation by working with some of the best industry professionals. Outside the class room, I sharpened my talents as rigger and digital artist by working on collaborative films, which gave me the experience to help my classmates inside the class room. All of this, in conjunction with my desire to build upon my tradition background, which allows me to add more to the production process.
My passion for both anatomy and computer graphics lead to my devotion to rigging. Bring a digital character or prop to life is pure entertainment for me. Though rigging is my focus, learning is one of my favorite past times. Bettering myself so I can in turn help my colleagues is what I live for.
